We’re thrilled to announce the successful launch of our latest session at The Thrive Center, which began on September 28, 2024, and will run until April 12, 2025. We welcomed 125 eager students ready to embark on a journey of learning and growth. This session is particularly special, as we’re offering a range of programs designed to equip students with critical skills for the future, all free of charge.
One exciting new addition this year is our Girls in Tech program, launched in partnership with Technovation. This program is designed to empower young girls to pursue careers in technology and innovation, providing them with hands-on experience, mentorship, and a supportive environment to thrive in the tech world.
Our students are engaging in a variety of exciting courses, including:
- Girls in Tech (new): A program specifically designed to inspire and support girls in technology in partnership with Technovation.
- AI with Python: Introducing students to artificial intelligence and the basics of programming with Python.
- Network Administration: Providing foundational knowledge of networks, from setup to management, to prepare students for IT careers.
- Microsoft Office: Teaching essential productivity tools that are critical in both academic and professional settings.
- Web Development: Offering hands-on experience in creating websites and understanding front-end and back-end development.
- Career Launch Program: Helping students develop career skills and plan for future success.
- Green Warriors: Engaging students in environmental sustainability initiatives and teaching them how to protect and preserve the planet.
These courses are specifically designed to help students gain both technical and life skills that will set them up for success in today’s rapidly changing world.
