A new session begins with 110 learners, free courses, and growing impact at the Thrive Center.
We’re excited to share some great news from The Thrive Center in Douala, Cameroon!
The program has already sparked a passion for technology and innovation among our young girls, offering hands-on experience, mentorship, and a supportive community that encourages them to thrive in tech careers.
Alongside Girls in Tech, students are diving into an exciting mix of courses designed to equip them for the future:
- Girls in Tech (2nd Edition): Inspiring and empowering young girls to develop confidence and leadership in technology, in partnership with Technovation.
- AI with Python: Introducing students to artificial intelligence and coding.
- Data Analyst: Building data literacy and analytical skills for the digital age.
- Microsoft Office: Strengthening digital productivity and workplace skills.
- Web Development: Teaching students to design and manage dynamic websites.
- Career Launch Program: Preparing students for the professional world through practical career guidance.
- Green Warriors: Promoting environmental awareness and sustainable action among youth.
These programs blend technical expertise with essential life skills, preparing our students to thrive in an ever-evolving world.
At The Thrive Center, we believe that great learning happens in great conditions. That’s why our students enjoy free snacks, a comfortable workspace, and high-speed internet throughout their journey. Every detail at the hub is designed to keep them energized, focused, and inspired—creating the perfect environment for them to learn, connect, and truly thrive.
The impact of this work is already visible. Since its creation, the Thrive Center has trained more than 500 Students empowering youth with practical skills that open doors to opportunity.
Just this past summer, we launched our first internship program, selecting five outstanding students from a pool of twenty top performers who passed interviews and proved their readiness for the next step. This year’s top students will once again earn a chance to join our Summer 2026 internship program, because at Striving For All, we don’t just teach skills; we help youth build their professional paths.
