Our Impact During Orientation Week at New-Bell and Joss High Schools

Education is the key to unlocking a brighter future. During orientation week at Lycée de New-Bell and Lycée Joss, Striving For All had the privilege of engaging with hundreds of students, sparking conversations about their futures and equipping them with the tools to thrive.

Our mission was clear: to empower students with career insights and provide them with resources to build brighter futures through education and skill development.

At Lycée de New-Bell, we connected with eager students, discussing career paths and offering guidance on navigating their futures. We thank Mme EPEY Née ARREY Jackeline NDIPARRAH, the Principal, for her outstanding leadership and unwavering support throughout the week. Her dedication to fostering a solid educational foundation was evident in every aspect of the event.

We also thank Mme OMONGO Marie Laure, Discipline Master, for her excellent organizational efforts, and Mme ONANA, the school’s Conseillère d’Orientation, who provided personalized career advice. Their collective commitment enriched the event and left a lasting impact on the students.

At Lycée Joss, M. NDEBIA Jean, the Principal, warmly welcomed us, whose support was instrumental in ensuring our successful engagement. We are equally thankful to Mme NYEMB Véronique, Censeur, for her smooth coordination of the event, and Mme EMANI Carine, Conseillère d’Orientation, for helping students explore the opportunities available at the Thrive Center.

Our team delivered insightful talks at both schools on the importance of future-ready education, encouraging students to explore various career paths and set ambitious goals. We highlighted the Thrive Center’s free programs, which are designed to develop essential life skills, boost employability, and foster innovation and leadership.

By the end of each event, students expressed genuine enthusiasm about the opportunities offered at the Thrive Center. We’re excited to welcome them to our programs and support them as they embark on their educational journeys.

Striving For All extends heartfelt thanks to the staff and leadership at Lycée de New-Bell and Lycée Joss for their dedication to empowering their students. These schools are pillars of education in Douala, and we’re proud to have partnered with them to inspire the next generation of leaders.
